Greetings, fellow camera-people,
On 1 February,
took the gang to the Chinese New Year parade in Lisbon — and it was probably the first ever morning photowalk of this community, quite a remarkable achievement as such. Based on knowledge quickly gathered on the Internet, the year of the Snake could be quite auspicious for our photographic journeys: indeed, the Snake represents wisdom, introspection, creative energy and transformation — all good vibes when exploring the world with a camera. Here are some of the images made on that day.

This is a reference to Charles Dickens' Tale of Two Cities, a novel which opens with:
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair."
As we set on a slow-paced walk that will take us through two of Lisbon's parks, can this famous incipit inspire the images we'll be making? This will be your photographic assignment for the walk (should you choose to accep it).
That’s all for this time, folks. Hope to see you soon on one of our photo walks!
